| 正面描述 | Bare head of Octavian facing right, rendered in fine Hellenistic portrait style with naturalistic modelling of the facial features and softly layered hair swept forward across the brow. The youthful, unidealized effigy fills the broad, flat field of the flan, with no encircling legend. The portrait is distinguished by its intimate realism, characteristic of coinage issued in the transitional period immediately preceding the formal establishment of the Principate. |

| 背面描述 | A military trophy, composed of a cuirass, helmet, and oval shield mounted on a pole, stands erect upon the prow of a warship (rostrum), flanked to the left by an anchor and to the right by a rudder, all set upon a decorative base. The composition celebrates Octavian's naval victories at Naulochus (36 BC) and Actium (31 BC). The legend IMP CAESAR is inscribed in two parts across the field, divided by the trophy, in bold Roman capitals. The reverse iconography is deeply symbolic, evoking supreme military command over both land and sea. |
