Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Genius, personification of the Roman People, facing right with short, tightly curled hair rendered in a naturalistic style. The figure is draped, with the bust truncated at the shoulder. A cornucopia appears behind the bust to the left, serving as an attribute of abundance and divine favour. The Latin legend GENIO P R is inscribed in the field to the right, enclosed within a beaded border. The engraving reflects the vigorous, somewhat hasty style characteristic of emergency military coinage struck during the Year of the Four Emperors.
