| Obverse description | Draped bust of Athena facing left, wearing a crested Attic helmet adorned with a laurel wreath and an aegis at the shoulder; a small figure of Victory stands behind, extending a wreath toward the goddess. Three pellets are visible below the chin, likely serving as a control mark. The flan is irregular and the devices are rendered in a bold, somewhat provincial style characteristic of Social War coinage. |

| Reverse description | A fully armed Italic warrior stands facing, head turned to the right, holding a long spear in his right hand and a parazonium (short sword) in his left, with his left foot placed upon an uncertain object, possibly the Roman she-wolf. To the left rises a trophy of arms, symbolizing victories over Rome; to the right appears the forepart of a recumbent bull, the emblematic animal of the Italic peoples and symbol of the allied insurgents. An Oscan control-numeral appears in the exergue. The composition reflects the powerful political and military propaganda of the Social War confederate coinage. |
