Obverse description Winged bust of Victory facing right, draped, with large spread wings visible behind the shoulders. The figure is rendered in the Roman provincial style characteristic of the Claudian-Neronian workshop tradition, with flowing drapery indicated by incised lines across the chest. The circumferential legend in Latin reads L CLODI MACRI S C, disposed around the periphery of the field. The flan is irregular in form, consistent with hand-struck military coinage produced under emergency conditions during the revolt of AD 68.
