| Obverse description | Laureate and wreathed head of Julius Caesar facing right, rendered with fine portraiture detail including a prominent nose, thin lips, and lightly bearded chin characteristic of late Republican coinage. The wreath, composed of individual berries or pellets, crowns the elaborately rendered hair.
