| 正面铭文 | CAESAR•DICT PERPETVO (Translation: Caesar Dictator for Life) |
| 背面描述 | A fasces and caduceus are displayed inverted and arranged in saltire at the centre of the field, symbolising military authority and commerce respectively. To the left, an axe projects from the fasces; to the right, a globe alludes to Caesar's universal dominion. Above the crossed emblems, clasped hands (dextrarum iunctio) represent concord, while below, the moneyer's name appears in the exergue area. A border of dots encircles the entire design. The composition is attributed to the moneyer Lucius Aemilius Buca, one of the four moneyers appointed by Caesar in 44 BC. |
