| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Venus facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and secured beneath a jewelled diadem, with a long curl falling behind the neck. She wears a beaded necklace and her drapery is visible at the truncation. A small figure of Cupid appears at her left shoulder. The field is plain and the coin is bordered by a beaded inner border near the rim, characteristic of the late Republican hammered style. |

| Reverse description | A military trophy stands at centre, composed of a cuirass and helmet mounted on a post, flanked by two oval shields and two transverse spears or javelins. At the base of the trophy, two seated Gallic captives are depicted: one to the left, clothed and seated with arms bound, facing inward, and one to the right, partially draped and reclining, also facing the trophy. The legend CAESAR appears in large letters in the exergue below a dividing line, all within a beaded border. |
