Reverse description The personification of Salus seated to the left on a high-backed throne, rendered in flowing draped robes. She extends her right hand holding a patera in an offering gesture, her posture calm and composed in the classical allegorical tradition. The figure is set upon a base line, with the abbreviated legend SALVS AVG inscribed in the left field. The reverse exhibits the characteristic shallow relief and slightly irregular strike of hammered Flavian silver coinage.
