Reverse description Turreted bust of Tyche-Caesarea facing right, wearing a mural crown with multiple battlemented towers, her hair drawn back and draped locks falling onto the neck. The Greek legend ΚΑΙΣΑΡΕΙΑ is disposed in the right field, reading downward, enclosed within a beaded border. The depiction evokes the personification of the city of Caesarea (Cherchell), the Mauretanian royal capital, in the tradition of Hellenistic civic coinage.
