Obverse description Diademed head of Juba II facing right, the diadem rendered with fine detail and a streamer falling behind the neck. The royal portrait displays characteristic Hellenistic styling with carefully modeled hair swept back beneath the diadem. The Latin legend REX IVBA curves around the upper and right field, identifying the monarch by name and title. The border is formed by a ring of raised dots.

Reverse description A knotted Herculean club stands upright at center, rendered in fine relief with characteristic nodular texture, enclosed within a laurel wreath tied at the base. The four letters C, T, M, C — abbreviating the names of magistrates or mint officials — are distributed in the field flanking the club, two above and two below. The entire design is encircled by a dotted border, with a Neo-Punic inscription appearing below the wreath near the exergue.
