Obverse description Helmeted bust of Roma facing right, wearing a crested Corinthian helmet adorned with a plume, draped at the shoulder, rendered in high relief with fine classical modeling. The legend ROMA RESTITVTA runs around the periphery, divided on either side of the bust, proclaiming the restoration of Rome. The flan is irregular in shape, characteristic of emergency or transitional coinage struck during the turbulent Year of the Four Emperors. The die work is competent and reflects the output of the Rome mint under Galba's early administration.

Reverse description Jupiter seated left on a throne, nude to the waist with drapery across the lower body, holding a thunderbolt in his extended right hand and a long sceptre in his left. The figure is rendered in a dignified, classicizing style consistent with Augustan iconographic tradition revived under Galba. The circumferential legend IVPPITER LIBERATOR is distributed on both sides of the field, emphasizing Jupiter's role as liberator of Rome from tyranny—a pointed political message alluding to the end of Neronian rule. The exergue is plain.
