| Obverse description | Bare-headed, veiled bust of Juno facing right, her hair neatly dressed with a diadem-like ornament and covered by a veil falling behind; a long sceptre rises vertically behind the effigy. The field to the left bears the abbreviated legend DOS (for Dossenus). The portrait is rendered in the refined Late Republican engraving style characteristic of the Rubria gens coinage being restruck under Trajan. A beaded border frames the entire design. |

| Reverse description | A small winged Victory, rendered in dynamic profile, stands erect within a fast-moving quadriga galloping to the right; she holds the reins with both hands while the four horses are depicted with legs fully extended in a vigorous gallop. The encircling legend occupies the upper and lower fields, with L RVBRI appearing in the exergue. The composition faithfully reproduces the original late-Republican denarius type of the moneyer Lucius Rubrius Dossenus, here restruck under Trajan as part of his celebrated restitution coinage. A beaded border surrounds the design. |
