| Beschrijving keerzijde | Salus, the personification of health and well-being, depicted standing to the left, holding a patera in her extended right hand above a flaming altar at left, with a sceptre or long staff in her left hand. The composition follows standard Hadrianic iconographic conventions for the Salus type, with the goddess rendered in flowing drapery. The legend is distributed around the field in two registers. This reverse type was struck to emphasize the health and stability of the imperial household during the early years of Hadrian's reign. |
