| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate, draped bust of Hadrian facing right, with a full beard rendered in the characteristically Hellenic style adopted by the emperor, the paludamentum visible at the truncation. The portrait displays fine high-relief workmanship, with individually delineated locks of hair beneath the laurel wreath. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan, bordered by a beaded inner rim. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The goddess Roma seated left on a throne, helmeted and draped, her feet resting upon a globe or low platform at the base of the design. She extends a small Victory figure in her right hand and holds an upright vertical sceptre in her left. The figure is rendered in flowing classical drapery with fine detail. The abbreviated Latin legend is disposed in two parts flanking the central type, with the exergual line providing a ground line for the seated figure. |
