| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Hadrian facing right, rendered in the naturalistic Greco-Roman portrait tradition characteristic of the early Hadrianic coinage. The emperor's curly hair and short beard are visible beneath the laurel wreath, reflecting the philhellenic aesthetic Hadrian introduced to imperial portraiture.
