| Beschrijving voorzijde | Bare-headed and bearded bust of Hadrian facing right, with characteristic wavy hair rendered in fine detail, draped at the shoulder. The portrait displays the emperor's distinctively full beard, a hallmark of Hadrianic coinage. The encircling Latin legend reads HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The die-work reflects the high artistic standards of the Roman Imperial mint during Hadrian's mature reign. |

The figure is rendered in a static, dignified pose consistent with the iconographic conventions of Hadrianic reverse types. The field legend MARTI, in the dative case, appears distributed to either side of the deity, dedicating the type to Mars. |
