Beschrijving keerzijde	The personification of Hispania reclines to the left upon rocky ground, her body draped, her head turned toward the viewer. She extends her right hand forward holding an olive branch, a symbol of the province's fertility and prosperity, while her left arm rests upon the rocks. A rabbit, the iconic symbol of the Iberian Peninsula in Roman iconography, is depicted in the lower field to her side. The reverse type belongs to Hadrian's celebrated 'travel series,' commemorating his imperial visit to the provinces, with the provincial name HISPANIA inscribed across the field.
