| 背面描述 | The personification of Felicitas, goddess of good fortune and prosperity, is depicted seated left upon a high-backed throne or chair of state, her figure draped in flowing robes rendered with fine linear detail. In her extended left hand she holds a caduceus — the herald's staff entwined with serpents, symbolising peace and commerce — while her right arm cradles a cornucopia overflowing with fruits and abundance. The reverse legend is divided between the upper field and the exergue, with FELICITAS AVG arcing above and COS III P P inscribed in the lower exergue beneath the throne. The composition is characteristic of Hadrianic allegorical reverse types celebrating imperial prosperity and diplomatic achievement. |
