| Obverse description | Bare-headed, laureate bust of Emperor Galba facing left, rendered with characteristic aged and stern physiognomy typical of Julio-Claudian portraiture. The effigy displays short, curly hair bound by a laurel wreath, with the neck and upper drapery visible at the truncation. The surrounding legend is incuse in Latin characters along the coin's periphery, interrupted only by the natural irregularity of the flan. |
