No legible effigy or legend is discernible; the design has been reduced to abstract linear elements, reflecting the barbarous imitative tradition of Gothic coinage on the Taman Peninsula. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with a patina of green corrosion overlying the billon fabric. |
