Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair and laurel wreath, typical of early Flavian portraiture. The emperor's strong profile is rendered with characteristic Flavian realism, displaying a prominent brow and firm jaw. A ribbon or vittae trails from the wreath behind the neck. The Latin legend encircles the portrait along the coin's periphery, reading clockwise from the lower left. The fields are smooth and slightly worn, consistent with early circulation.

Obverse lettering IMP CAES DOMITIANVS AVG PONT
(Translation: Imperator Caesar Domitianus Augustus, Pontifex [Maximus]. Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Domitian, emperor (Augustus), [high] priest.)
