Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, with neck truncation visible, rendered in the vigorous high-relief style characteristic of Flavian portraiture. The laurel wreath is finely detailed, with individual leaves clearly articulated against the emperor's hair. The portrait displays the characteristic strong features associated with Domitianic coinage, including a prominent brow and defined jaw. The circular Latin legend runs from lower left to lower right, framing the imperial effigy around the full circumference of the flan.
