| 裏面の説明 | A standing female figure, identified as Minerva, occupies the central field facing left, rendered in high relief in a long chiton and aegis. She extends her right arm outward, likely holding a thunderbolt or patera, while her left hand rests on an upright spear or hasta. A large round shield leans against her left side at ground level. The composition is typical of the Minervian reverse types favoured by Domitian, who had a particular devotion to the goddess, and corresponds to the reverse type associated with RIC II.1, 10.
