| 背面描述 | Standing figure of Minerva, goddess of wisdom and war, depicted in full length facing left in her role as Domitian's divine patron and protectress. She wears a helmet and long chiton, holding a thunderbolt or spear in her raised right hand and a vertical spear or sceptre in her left, with a round shield resting at her feet or against her left side. The reverse type corresponds to RIC II.1 772, one of the standard Minerva reverse variants frequently employed on Domitianic denarii. The circular legend IMP XXII COS XVII CENS P P P is distributed around the periphery of the flan. The relief is moderately worn but the goddess's stance, attributes, and drapery folds remain clearly legible. |
