The bust is bare-shouldered, rendered in high relief with fine engraving typical of the Rome Mint under the Flavian dynasty. A beaded border frames the entire field. The encircling Latin legend reads IMP CAES DOMIT AVG GERM P M TR P VI, distributed around the periphery of the coin.
