| Descrizione del dritto | Laureate head of Domitian facing right, with aegis or paludamentum visible at the shoulder, rendered in high relief in the naturalistic Flavian court style. The portrait displays finely engraved facial features characteristic of official Rome Mint production under Domitian. The encircling legend is distributed around the periphery of the flan, reading from lower left. The coin exhibits the somewhat irregular, hand-cut flan typical of hammered silver denarii of the late first century AD. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Minerva, goddess of wisdom and war, stands facing left in the field, helmeted and draped in a long chiton, holding a spear vertically in her right hand and a round shield on her left arm. The figure is depicted in a static, frontal stance with the spear raised, consistent with the Minerva type favoured by Domitian as his divine patron throughout his reign. The reverse legend encircles the field, enumerating Domitian's imperial acclamations, consular tenure, perpetual censorship, and the title Pater Patriae. The exergue is plain, and the coin's surface bears the characteristic die-struck relief of Rome Mint hammered coinage. |
