Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, with aegis or slight drapery visible at the shoulder truncation, rendered in high relief characteristic of Flavian portraiture. The emperor's features are rendered with individualistic detail, including a prominent brow and strong jaw. The encircling legend runs from lower left around the periphery in incuse Latin capitals, naming the emperor with his full titulature.
