Obverse description Draped bust of Diva Domitilla Major facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed in the Flavian style with curled locks arranged above the forehead and a long plaited queue descending at the nape. The effigy is rendered in finely detailed high relief characteristic of Domitianic court portraiture. The encircling legend reads DIVA DOMITILLA AVGVSTA, identifying the deified empress, and is positioned around the periphery of the coin with a beaded border.
