Obverse description Helmeted head of Roma facing right, wearing a winged helmet adorned with visor and decorated crest, with pendant earring and necklace visible at the neck. The hair falls in wavy locks behind the neck. The mark of value X (denarius mark) appears to the left of the bust, and the moneyer's abbreviated name Q•CVRT is inscribed downward to the right of the bust. The portrait is rendered in confident late Republican style with bold, high relief modelling. A beaded border frames the entire design.

Reverse description Jupiter, nude to the waist and holding a thunderbolt in his raised right hand and reins in his left, drives a galloping quadriga to the right at full speed, the four horses rendered with vigorous, dynamic energy. Below the horses, the moneyer's name M•SILA appears in the field, while the legend ROMA is inscribed in the exergue. A spoked wheel is visible beneath the chariot to the lower left. The entire composition conveys a strong sense of movement and power characteristic of late Roman Republican die-cutting. A beaded border surrounds the design.
