In her extended right hand she holds a wreath presented forward, while her left hand supports a long palm branch sloped over her left shoulder. The figure is rendered with flowing drapery that suggests movement, in the classical allegorical tradition of Roman imperial coinage. The reverse legend is disposed around the field in two registers, serving as both a victory proclamation and a consular dating formula. |
