| Obverse description | Laureate head of Clodius Albinus facing right, rendered in typical late Antonine–Severan portrait style with close-cropped hair and short beard indicated beneath the laurel wreath. The effigy occupies the central field, with the surrounding legend running clockwise along the coin's periphery. The flan is irregular in shape, characteristic of hammered Roman denarii of this period, and the portrait exhibits strong relief typical of Lyonese mint output. |

| Obverse lettering | IMP CAES D CLO SEP ALB AVG (Translation: Imperator Caesar Decimus Clodius Septimus Albinus Augustus. Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Decimus Clodius Septimus Albinus, emperor (Augustus).) |
| Reverse description | Aequitas, the personification of equity and fair dealing, depicted draped and standing left. In her extended right hand she holds a pair of scales, and in her left hand a cornucopiae, both attributes symbolic of just governance and abundance. The figure is rendered in the classical allegorical tradition common to Severan-era coinage, with the reverse legend distributed around the field and the exergue area clear of additional devices. |
