| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Queen Cleopatra Selene facing right, her hair rendered in long wavy locks gathered behind the neck and adorned with a stephane or diadem. The effigy is executed in the Hellenistic portrait tradition, with fine facial features and a draped shoulder visible at the truncation. The Greek legend BAΣIΛIΣΣA appears in the field to the right of the bust, identifying the queen by her royal title. |
