The oak wreath is tied at the apex with a decorative knot and fills the entire reverse field, with individual leaves and acorns rendered in relatively high relief. The execution, while broadly faithful to the official Claudian prototype, shows slight irregularities in letter forms and wreath detail consistent with a contemporary counterfeit production. |
