Obverse description Jugate busts of Fortuna Victrix, helmeted and draped, and Fortuna Felix, diademed and draped, facing right, resting upon a horizontal bar decorated at each end with rams' heads. The jugate presentation of the two goddesses is rendered in low relief typical of Augustan hammered coinage. The legend arcs around the upper and lower fields.

Reverse description A richly ornamented altar depicted in three-quarter perspective, its front face inscribed FOR RE within a recessed panel, decorated with garlands, volutes, and figural elements at the corners. The altar stands on a stepped base and is surmounted by elaborate architectural ornament. The surrounding legend references Caesar Augustus and the senatorial decree authorizing the issue, with EX SC appearing in the lower exergual area.
