Reverse description A tetrastyle temple façade, depicted in three-quarter perspective with six visible columns surmounted by a decorated entablature and pediment adorned with acroteria. Within the temple interior, a quadriga faces left atop a decorated podium or base, with a figure of Victory or Augustus driving the chariot. The architectural rendering is precise and highly detailed, conveying the grandeur of a monumental Roman structure. The legend S·P·Q·R· appears in the exergue beneath the temple, separated by a dotted border along the coin's lower rim.
