Obverse description Draped bust of Antonia Minor facing right, her hair elaborately dressed in waves and gathered into a long plait behind, and bound with a wreath of grain ears or a stephane, rendered in fine high-relief portraiture characteristic of early Julio-Claudian coinage. The effigy displays strong, idealised facial features consistent with posthumous or commemorative portraiture issued under Claudius. The circular legend ANTONIA AVGVSTA runs along the periphery, bordered by a beaded rim. The field is smooth and lightly worn, preserving crisp detail on the hair and facial contours.
