Obverse description Diademed male head facing left within the field, flanked by two South Arabian religious symbols: the curved symbol of Almaqah (the moon god) positioned to the left of the portrait, and the symbol of Athtar (the morning star deity) to the right. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition, with stylized hair and diadem. The design reflects the strong Hellenistic influence on Sabaean coinage of this period.
