Obverse description Central field occupied by a Moravian eagle displayed, with wings spread and head turned, rendered in a bold, somewhat schematic style characteristic of Bohemian-Moravian bracteate-influenced coinage. The eagle's body is surmounted by a crown, and its breast bears a chequered or latticed shield device. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with a plain outer rim. The overall composition is strongly heraldic, reflecting the dynastic symbolism of the Přemyslid margraves.
