Reverse description Central device comprising a bold Latin cross with splayed arms set within a twelve-lobed cusped inner border, the lobes forming a pronounced scalloped frame around the cross. The arms of the cross extend to meet the inner border, their terminals slightly broadened in a pattée fashion. A beaded outer circle encloses the circular Latin legend naming the ruling count. The overall design follows the Crusader gros tradition, combining Western Gothic heraldic style with Levantine minting conventions.
