Reverse description Nike, the goddess of victory, depicted in three-quarter profile driving a galloping biga to the right, her right hand wielding a goad and her left hand gathering the reins. In the upper field, a single star is visible. On the near horse, above the foreleg, a countermark in the form of a Punic letter has been applied, likely indicating official re-validation or circulation in a Punic-controlled context. The dynamic composition and vigorous rendering of the horses reflect the high standard of Syracusan die engraving of the period. The ethnic legend ΣΥΡΑΚΟΣΙΩΝ appears in the exergue or field.
