Beschrijving voorzijde Bareheaded effigy of the deified Alexander the Great in right profile, wearing the scalp of an elephant as a helmet, the trunk and ears of the beast visible framing his face. The portrait is rendered in the Hellenistic tradition, with strong facial features and youthful idealization characteristic of posthumous commemorative coinage issued under the Diadochi. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hammered gold coinage of the early Seleucid period. No legend or inscription appears in the field.

Beschrijving keerzijde Nike, the goddess of victory, standing in left profile with wings spread, holding a wreath extended in her right hand and a stylis or naval standard cradled in her left arm, emblematic of Seleucid military and naval supremacy. In the left field, a horned horse head facing right is depicted, serving as a dynastic symbol; a monogram appears above. The composition is rendered in a fluid Hellenistic style typical of early Seleucid coinage struck at Babylon. The flan is irregularly shaped with no peripheral legend.
