Reverse description The reverse presents a boldly struck crowned double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, the two heads facing outward to left and right respectively, surmounted by a single imperial crown. The eagle's plumage is rendered in fine detail with elaborate feather work across the wings and body, consistent with the heraldic tradition of the Holy Roman Empire. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central motif, contained between a rope-style inner border and a reeded outer rim. The composition reflects the prestige coinage conventions of the Dutch Republic's provincial mints in the late seventeenth century.
