The Saint Lebuinus Daalder was a joint issue of three Overijssel cities — Deventer, Kampen, and Zwolle — struck under imperial authority as the large silver thaler format was spreading rapidly across the Low Countries. The collaboration was practical necessity: none of the three cities commanded sufficient mint resources independently to sustain a competitive large silver coinage. Lebuinus was the 8th-century Anglo-Saxon missionary credited with Christianizing the Deventer region, making him a logical common patron for cities that otherwise guarded their civic autonomy jealously.
The Delmonte S#665 reference places this among the scarcer joint issues of the period.
