Reverse description A crowned coat of arms incorporating the Portuguese escutcheon is displayed at the centre of a Burgundian cross, with the characteristic firesteel (flint and steel) and sparks of the Order of the Golden Fleece flanking the shield on either side. The heraldic composition is rendered in the elaborate style of the Habsburg Netherlands, with fine engraving of the individual quartered fields. A circular Latin legend reading DOMINVS MIHI ADIVTOR surrounds the design within a beaded border.
