| Obverse description | Uniface klippe struck on an irregular square silver planchet. The obverse bears a four-line Latin inscription with the date 1574 displayed above, flanked by decorative sprigs both above and below, all contained within a beaded circle. The Arms of Zeeland are placed above the inscription. The legends record the patriotic and religious sentiment of the besieged city, invoking liberty, civic authority, and divine honor. |
