Reverse description Central field displays the elaborate quartered arms of the Province of Zeeland, rendered as a large heraldic shield divided into nine compartments, each bearing the arms of the individual towns and districts of Zeeland, including towers, lions, a swan, and other civic devices. Above the shield, the date 1676 is prominently inscribed, with the denomination 30 ST (30 Stuivers) immediately below. The encircling Latin legend MO NO ARG ORDIN ZELANDIAE, meaning 'New silver coin of the States of Zeeland,' runs around the periphery, interrupted by dot stops. The whole is enclosed within a beaded border consistent with the milled production of the Middelburg Mint.
