| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the crowned municipal arms of Nijmegen, flanked by two rampant lion supporters. The denomination numeral 30 ST (Stuivers) appears beneath the shield, itself flanked by decorative plant sprigs. The circumferential legend in Latin identifies the issuing authority and monetary standard. The overall heraldic composition is characteristic of late seventeenth-century Dutch municipal coinage. |
