Reverse description A boldly rendered rampant lion dominates the central field, facing left with forepaws raised and tail curled upward, depicted in vigorous high relief characteristic of the Leeuwendaalder type. The field is plain and unadorned, allowing the lion device full prominence. The peripheral Latin legend, separated by pellets, reads CONFIDENS : DNO : NON : MOVETVR with the date 1681 incorporated within the inscription, all enclosed within a milled outer border.
