| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the ninefold arms of Zeeland province, set within an elaborate ornate cartouche frame, with the date prominently displayed above within an inner circle. The peripheral legend is divided at the bottom by the denomination numeral flanked by clover stops, with the Middelburg mint mark (tower) positioned at the legend's end.
