Reverse description A rampant double-tailed lion facing left, holding by a cord in its dexter forepaw a suspended shield bearing the arms of Nijmegen. A mint mark depicting crossed mining tools (bergwerkszeichen) appears in the field. The reverse legend encircles the design, referencing the Philips penning standard and the denomination of 30 stuiver, in keeping with the monetary ordinances of the period.
